✨ A Journey Through the Runes ✨
Step into the ancient wisdom of the runes with us for a magical evening of learning and creation.
Join us for "A Journey Through the Runes," where we’ll explore the basics of rune lore and symbolism together. This workshop includes a basic introduction to the Elder Futhark, the oldest runic alphabet used for divination, guidance, and connection to ancient Northern traditions.
Whether you’re brand new to runes or looking to deepen your understanding, this is a welcoming space to begin your journey.
You’ll also get hands-on with a make-and-take activity, creating your own rune set to take home—perfect for those who don’t yet have their own runes.
📅 Thursday, April 30th
⏰ 6:30 PM
📍 Rising Goddess 225 Highland Pkwy, Tonawanda, NY

Coming from the Gaelic word Caoineadh (to weep or wail), Keening is an ancient Irish tradition of vocal grieving—deep weeping, wailing, and release for the dead.
When intense emotions are pushed down, they don’t disappear—they settle into the body, building tension and discomfort over time. Keening offers a powerful, physical way to express and move through grief, loss, anger, and transformation.
Whether you are grieving the death of a loved one, a path not taken, or a past version of yourself, you are invited to gather in a space of shared presence and reflection.
Through guided keening, storytelling, and community sharing, we will explore grief as a doorway—where pain and anger can become part of a deeper process of release, connection, and personal initiation.
All are welcome. Come as you are.
